Evening everyone. I'm not sure how long of an entry I will have for you all tonight. Today has been interesting, but good. This morning, I got off at 6 AM. I came home, grabbed a snack, let the dog out, and wondered "should I get the lawn mowed and done with before getting a few hours sleep before the game?" But then I thought "no, I should get a few hours of sleep." The game was scheduled for 10:15, so I figured that 2.5 or 3 hours of sleep would be good to get before the game. Well, when I finally layed down, I did not end up falling asleep until after 7:30. So, when 9:30 came along, I was like "ugh. I don't want to get up," but of course I did get up.
So, 10:15, the game bagan. I noticed more of an improvement with the girls today. Finally got through to them, through telling them to shoot, and through scrimmaging them, that they got down to the other team's goal quite a bit, and took some good shots. In fact! Wait for it! They also kept the other team from scoring on them, and one of our girl's dribbled up not too far from the goal. Erin, Zoe, and I were a little ways away under the shade of a tree, and we yelled "SHOOT IT! SHOOT IT!" She looked up, and then took a shot, and sheh scored. WE WON! Although the season is almost over, only one game left that we are making up next weekend, after stepping in to help the coach, I can see the that we have brought these girls such a long ways in such a short time. After the game, I went over to ask Laura about the last practice and last game, and one of the parents patted Laura on the back and was like "Good job coach!" Tonight I asked Erin "Should I be upset about not really being recognized for my efforts with the team?" I told her about the parent saying that to the coach, and how part of me feels that a big reason why the girls have come so far is because I have stepped in and helped out. Laura is a really nice lady, I like working with her as far as coaching the team. Erin said that she's certain that Laura appreciates my help, and knows I have done a lot for the team, and that the parents just might not know for sure.
The way I decided to think about it was this. Yes I may not really get credit for the stuff that I have taught these players, but next season I will be the head coach. So, next season I'm sure I won't have to worry that people don't know that I made a big difference in how well their kids will know how to play the game. So, I guess I have that to look forward to.
Then, around just about 3 oclock, we put Zoe down, and then the rest of us went back to bed for a nap. We had budgeted $100.00 for groceries out of our paycheck, and so I set my alarm for 6:00, which would have been about 3 hours. Of course, Zoe had other plans. About 2+ hours after we layed down, Zoe was basically knocking on her door indicating that it was time for us all to get up. We got up, and after doing some small work on fixing our TV, we went to Aldi's and did some grocery shopping.
In closing, starting Monday, basically I will need to find an area about 2 miles long, and run it every day for the next two weeks. I have about 2 weeks till the civil service testing. I am afraid of the date coming up on me, and being terrified to go because I'm sure that I will not be able to pass the testing. I don't want that to happen, so I have to prepare myself. I think I will call that it for tonight. I will write more for you all tomorrow.
Thanks for being here.

God says in the Bible that we should do our good works annonymously so that we can receive our rewards in Heaven. If you do your works and stamp your name you will receive your rewards here on Earth by man. And well, I want my rewards in Heaven, how about you? :P
