Yay for the weekend!

I always look forward to coming in to work my friday night to saturday morning shift. Mainly because I know that as soon as 8AM rolls around, I'm out of here till monday night at midnight. School is going really well. I'm surprised that algebra is actually not kicking my ass the way that I thought it would. In fact, I would have to say that it seems easier than a lot of other classes I have already taken. Strange, I know.

So tonight, while I was online working on homework (since Friday is when some of the assignments are due), Lex was like "so are we going skating tomorrow?" I was like "nope, sunday. Remember last saturday and how crazy it was?" She was like "oh yeah! I forgot!" We will be trying that rink this sunday to see if it is any better. If it is, maybe we will keep going on sundays, but if it's still not very good, we may have to try the roller rink I heard good things about out in Morrison. I heard it's a really nice sized roller rink and that it is really nice. Even if we like the roller den on sunday, we may still try the one in morrison. Why not actually find one that blows our minds right?

Tonight was like pulling teeth with Zoe to get her to eat dinner. Of course, she wanted only to have donuts and candy, but we were like "you want, you want, you want.. well 'I' want you to eat your hamburger helper! If you want any other snacks or whatever, you will eat your dinner little miss!" Only to get the response "i don't like it!".. lol.. I guess that's kids for ya! Sometimes I swear, I make something, pile on the parmesian cheese thinking that it will be something that Zoe likes, but nope, even then sometimes she just looks at it, sets the bowl down and says "i want this!" while pointing at something like the cheeze-it box, or stuff like that. Sometimes they both surprise me though and end up eating everything. I have yet to figure out how Zoe works. Heck sometimes I don't even know how lex works! lol. Oh well.

In closing (yes I know, short one tonight), the past few days I have had a nasty cold. Not the head cold that I had before (which sucked royally), but a 'regular' cold, with your nose running like a faucet, congested and stuff, and no matter what I did, what I took, how many times I blew my nose, or how recently, the other two nights at work I would blow my nose, clear myself up quite a bit, then less than a half hour later, suddenly my nose is rapidly running again. I was like "SON OF A ****!" lol. Well by yesterday I could tell I was succeeding at clearing out the flegm, and today although I have still had some clearing out to do, my nose has not run all day, so that's awesome! But the only bad part is, you can tell I had to non stop blow my nose because my nose feels all rough and dried out. Oh well. So, I'm looking forward to the weekend like always. You could say that with me in school, and definitely thinking it is time to get into a better job, I take my job week by week. I work my 5 days, then enjoy my weekend, then push through my 5 days again, then enjoy the weekend. It's a trend. It makes the time go by fast.
